The job of insulating the floor is easier if there is room to crawl underneath but if there isn t it can still be done. I looked under there today to see if i could come up with an idea for closing the gap to animals and debris. If it is above grade winter drafts will make the room too cold to use no matter how well the walls and ceiling are insulated.

I was really surprised to see all the brand new insulation completely. You may even be able to warm it up enough to make it a room for all seasons.
